Paradise Country is an authentic Aussie farm giving visitors the opportunity to experience the traditional Australian bush culture. There is so much to do, you can feed the friendly kangaroos, have your photo taken with a cuddly koala, see the skills of the master shearers or watch our stockmen and women and their dogs round up a flock of sheep, throw a boomerang and crack a stockman's whip.
Many activities are on offer throughout the day including the Stockmen and Sheep Dog Show, Sheep Shearing Show and Ram Parade, Billy Tea and Stock Horse Arena, Kangaroo and Koala Sanctuary, New Aussie Farmyard at Paradise Country - ‘The Aussie Farmyard’ allows kids to get up close and personal to baby animals of all shapes and sizes including lambs, chickens, calves and piglets. The Aussie Farmyard includes an interactive educational area where kids can draw pictures of the animals they have encountered, and add their drawings to the picture wall or take them home as a token of their special day. While you're there, why not sample a feast of country tucker in the farmhouse restaurant as you enjoy some great Aussie music.
Please attend Guest Services on arrival so they can help you plan your day.

Was a bit of a disappointment compared to our last visit
Lots of the attractions were closed or not running when we visited no photos on arrival like the first time we went. We waited an hour for a tractor ride that lasted 2 minutes. It was a good place when first opened but now it's pretty ordinary. There's lots of walking, may need a lift from carpark to the main entry for the elderly.

A family-friendly day out taking in the small shows performed and looking at the animals and cartoon characters.
Enjoyed the shows, the beautiful grounds to walk around, the staff were friendly, and the restaurant was good. Good family day out. The disappointing part for us however was how zonked out the animals were in the petting area, they just looked like dead animals laying around, had no energy, could barely open their eyes, definitely couldn't lift their heads etc. My kids made me check each one to make sure alive. Other than that the rest of the park was great.

Although it was a bit smaller than I thought
Although it was a bit smaller than I thought, overall I had lovely moments at Paradise country. I am from Brisbane so compared to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, Paradise Country definitely beats it. I thought it would be great for families who have small kids since it has several shows and is not that big to walk around.
